I use the realistic controls, because separate throttle and brakes is a better experience than the slider. When playing with the realistic controls, this makes it difficult to control the train.

I love the free drive, it’s the best part of any Train Driver Journey game. Once you’re done with those, there’s the free drive, which is really fun to mess around in. The missions/sessions, whatever they’re called, are good fun, and there’s about 5 of them.
